**Job Description:**
- Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of residents? Join our incredible team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Post Acute Long-Term Care (LTC) setting!
- Partner with residents and care providers to create a **safe**, **comfortable**, and **therapeutic environment** by delivering both direct and indirect care.
- **Unit Highlights:**
- **3 East**: A specialized 31-bed unit focusing on Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Engage using both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques, addressing the unique behaviors of these residents in a home-like environment.
- **Transitional Rehabilitation Unit**: Located on the second floor, this 42-bed unit offers short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation to patients recovering from various conditions. Services include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.
- **3 West**: A 42-bed long-term care unit providing essential care for residents needing placement in a nurturing and familiar setting.
- **Job Requirements:**
- **Education**:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required
- **Experience**:
- 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred
- **Skills**:
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills essential
- Flexibility to cover 24/7 needs and float to other units as required
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered to meet the requirements.
