Key Responsibilities

• Independently supervise the delivery of care to a group of residents within a nursing unit
• Assess resident needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer and evaluate nursing care to long term care residents
• Supervise LPNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Experience in long term care or a related nursing setting
• Ability to independently manage and supervise a nursing unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with veteran or geriatric populations
• Experience supervising LPNs and CNAs in a long term care environment
