Job Summary
Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) registered nurse (RN) position in a respiratory-focused environment. The role involves providing specialized care to vent-dependent and respiratory patients within a designated unit. The position requires night shifts and every other weekend, with responsibilities including patient monitoring, IV starts, medication administration, wound care, and device management. Prior experience with respiratory/vented patients is strongly preferred.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license with 2 years of experience, previous travel experience preferred. BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing respiratory and vent-dependent patients.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to related chronic care units including RCU, RCU2, SDU, and TRU (travelers float first).
• Additional Information:
  • Responsible for IV starts, drips, blood administration, EKGs, medication titrations, glucose monitoring, wound vac changes, wound dressings, trach care, suctioning, straight catheter, foley care, port access, central line dressing, and wound measurement.
  • Must be willing to obtain or have a medical declination for flu vaccinations.
  • Profiles must be clear, complete, and demonstrate experience with respiratory/vented patients if applicable.
