HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Denver, Colorado.

Job Description & Requirements

Facility Requirements:
 

  • Must have ACLS & BLS certifications, these must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
  • Must have vent/trach experience, knowledge of central lines & preferred wound care experience
  • Must have CO or multi-state compact RN license, must be attached to resume
  • Patient Ratios are 1:6

ABOUT THE FACILITY:

  • Kindred Hospital Denver | 1920 High Street, Denver, CO 80218
  • 81 total staffed beds, all private rooms- 68 LTAC beds plus a 13-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU)
  • Long-term acute care hospital- no emergency department, so no ED throughput
  • Patient population: respiratory failure and vent weaning, complex wounds, sepsis, stroke and brain injury, cardiac, and renal/dialysis patients- typically medically complex with multiple comorbidities
  • Care is physician-led and interdisciplinary, with respiratory therapists, certified wound care specialists, and PT/OT/speech embedded on the team
  • Part of ScionHealth since December 2021 (formerly Kindred Healthcare)
  • Sits on one of Denver's main medical campuses, just east of St. Joseph's Hospital and Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center- central location, City Park is a few blocks away
