Schedule: Shift-based nursing position with accountability for direct patient care delivery in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Telemetry environment
Highlights:
- Provide nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act standards
- Work with ventilator and tracheostomy patients requiring specialized respiratory care
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to anticipate and plan safe care delivery
- Opportunity to lead and delegate patient care priorities to clinical team members
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team focused on complex patient populations
- Contract replacement position supporting continuity of care for patients requiring extended hospitalization
Requirements:
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry and LTAC experience in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and tracheostomy care
- Strong clinical competencies with ongoing commitment to continuing education
- Ability to supervise and direct assigned personnel in patient care delivery
