Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Prior LTAC, acute care, or rehab nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments within required timeframes and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Support patient rehabilitation, recovery, and education throughout the care continuum
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from day one of admission
• Communicate changes in patient status promptly to support continuity of care and patient safety
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the medical record
• Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel as appropriate
• Promote a safe, respectful, and efficient care environment for patients, families, and team members
• Participate in team collaboration, quality patient outcomes, and ongoing professional growth
