Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced LTAC environment

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments within expected timeframes and develop individualized plans of care
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
• Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Support patient and family education throughout the course of care and discharge planning
• Supervise and guide LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff as needed
• Promote patient safety, staff safety, and a positive unit culture
• Assist with prioritizing care, coordinating workflow, and supporting efficient unit operations
