Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year of bedside clinical experience required; LTAC nursing or rehabilitation experience is a plus
• BLS certification required before first shift
• ACLS certification required before first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Comfortable supervising and supporting ancillary nursing staff as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care to medically complex patients in a long-term acute care setting
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within required timeframes
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Provide timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in team conferences, discharge planning, and patient education
• Communicate changes in patient status to appropriate care providers
• Support patient rehabilitation goals and promote positive outcomes
• Delegate appropriately and help maintain a safe, efficient unit environment
• Follow safety procedures, clinical standards, and unit guidelines at all times
