Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required
• 2+ years of bedside clinical experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift
• Strong assessment, documentation, and care-planning skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary care environment
• Prior experience in LTAC, medical-surgical, telemetry, or rehabilitation nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Complete patient assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Identify patient and family teaching needs and support discharge planning from day one
• Provide accurate, timely documentation in the medical record
• Communicate patient status changes to physicians, charge nurses, and care team members
• Support rehabilitation goals and promote positive patient outcomes
• Direct, train, and supervise ancillary nursing personnel as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
• Contribute to teamwork, unit efficiency, and professional collaboration
