About the Unit

Join a LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum) unit with a 3-bed triage area where nurses work across multiple areas, including labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, nursery, and NICU.

Unit Highlights:

• 12 LDRP rooms
• 3 triage beds
• 16 nursery beds
• 3 NICU beds
• Level II Nursery
• 1 OR on the unit for C-sections
• Basic & intermediate fetal monitoring
• Staffed by OB/GYNs, midwives, and pediatric hospitalists
• Follows AWHONN staffing guidelines

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent L&D experience
• BLS
• NRP
• Fetal monitoring experience
• STABLE preferred, not required

Additional Details

• Nurses are required to attend C-sections but are responsible only for the baby and will not scrub.
• When census is low, nurses may occasionally assist in Pediatrics or Acute Care as a rescue nurse or constant observer, but would not serve as the primary pediatric nurse.
