Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Rotating every other weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN staffing standards, with potential simple med/surg overflow as needed
- Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections performed on the unit
- Monitor and assess fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring equipment (GE Centricity/Meditech)
- Care for postpartum and OB/GYN patients with patient ratios up to 6:1 (typically 3–4:1)
- Participate in minimal on-call requirements and float within the unit for low-census situations
- Collaborate as a team player within a Joint Commission Accredited facility offering a full range of women's health services
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Fetal monitoring class completed within the past 2 years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience circulating in the OR for Labor & Delivery/cesarean sections
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system
- Experience with OB/GYN and postpartum patient populations
