Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to high-risk OB patients including magnesium sulfate patients and C-section patients managed on the unit
Perform independent patient exams and full assessments in accordance with unit protocols
Chart and document patient information across two EMR systems (Meditech and GE)
Operate within AWHONN staffing ratios and collaborate with scrub techs, charge nurses, and unit leaders
Float to OB or nursery as needed for task-based support without assuming a patient assignment
Deliver a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Current ACLS and NRP certifications
High-risk OB experience required
Flu vaccine required – no exceptions or exemptions
Ability to work every third weekend (3 weekend shifts per 4-week period)
