Schedule / Job Type
Contract, Full-Time, Onsite, Rotating Night Shift — Schedule consists of two 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and two 8-hour shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Birthing Unit setting
- Monitor and assess laboring patients using electronic fetal monitoring (EFM)
- Perform and assist with circulating duties during labor and delivery procedures
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support maternal and newborn outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Circulating experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Recent EFM certification — intermediate level or higher required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics (ALSO) certification
- Perinatal NCC Certification (Maternal Newborn Nursing - Level I, Postpartum, or Inpatient Obstetric Nursing - Labor and Birth)
- First Latch breastfeeding certification
