Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit during day shift hours
- Adapt to staffing needs, including potential reassignment to open shifts later in the week
- Float to other units or care sites within the health system as operationally required to maintain contracted hours
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility policies and clinical standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact license eligibility
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Ability to float to other units or care sites as needed
- Flexibility with scheduling, as hours are not guaranteed and may be adjusted based on operational need
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
- Experience working as agency or travel nursing staff
- Familiarity with large health system environments and multi-site care models
