Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and other assessment tools
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
- Administer medications and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a compact state license
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Ability to work night shifts (19:00–07:30)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and fetal strip interpretation
- Familiarity with high-risk obstetric patients and complications
- AWHONN fetal monitoring certification preferred
