Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Contract | Night Shift (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the obstetric care team
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered, including IV therapy and epidural support
- Educate and support patients and families during the perinatal experience
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Prior experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
- Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring and interpretation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
