Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit throughout the night shift
- Perform IV insertion and manage IV therapy as required
- Document patient care and clinical information using Meditech charting system
- Float to other departments and facilities as needed based on a department-monitored rotation schedule
- Monitor fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 18 months of Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required prior to start
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required prior to start
- Fetal Monitoring certification required prior to start
- Proficiency with IV insertion and Meditech charting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience floating across multiple departments or facility settings
