Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:2 depending on acuity
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart monitoring data throughout patient care
- Circulate and assist with cesarean section procedures as needed
- Support neonatal transitions and delivery room care
- Document patient care accurately using facility EMR systems
- Adhere to unit protocols including holiday scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- AWHONN certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Minimum 5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience circulating in cesarean section (CLS) procedures
- Experience with neonatal transition care
- Familiarity with Medhost, Centricity Perinatal, or Cerner EMR platforms
