Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2, varying based on acuity
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart monitoring data throughout labor and delivery
- Circulate and assist with cesarean sections and neonatal transitions as needed
- Document patient care accurately using facility EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring
- Minimum of 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience circulating in cesarean sections and neonatal transition
- Familiarity with Medhost, Centricity Perinatal, or Cerner EMR platforms
