Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across obstetrical settings including ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum units
• Deliver nursing care for GYN patients and newborns within an 18-bed Labor and Delivery unit
• Manage patient assignments at a 1:1 to 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio across triage, antepartum, recovery, OR, and L&D beds
• Utilize electronic health record systems to document and coordinate patient care
• Float to mother-baby unit and potentially other adult or pediatric floors as needed in a helping-hands capacity within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 4–5 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic and Stork electronic health record systems required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multi-functional obstetrical unit including triage, antepartum, OR, and recovery settings
• Comfort with floating to mother-baby or other adult units as needed
