Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
- Assume responsibility for unit-level care coordination and patient safety
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
- Support facility nursing leadership to ensure high quality and safe nursing care
- Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care
- Ensure competency of clinical staff under supervision
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity
- Familiarity with resource management in an acute care or labor and delivery setting
