Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across the full LDRP continuum, including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum units
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate monitoring in accordance with AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced standards
- Administer neonatal resuscitation as needed in accordance with NRP certification requirements
- Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Float to other units within the facility as needed based on census and staffing demands
- Meet weekend commitment of 4 days per 4-week scheduling period
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
- FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor & Delivery / LDRP; first-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Time-off requests of 7 days or fewer are preferred; requests exceeding 7 days or covering holidays will require additional review and approval
- 1 supervisory reference required for submission
- Candidates with a single DUI on record may be considered provided the incident occurred more than one year prior to the assignment start date
