    Key Responsibilities
    • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards.
    • Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction.
    • Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
    • Monitor and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) data to support patient safety and clinical decision-making.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-volume Labor & Delivery setting.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Maryland RN license (Nursys verification must be less than 30 days old).
    • Minimum of 2 years of recent, high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required.
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
    • Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification.
    • Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
    • Active NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification.
    • NRP certification required.
    • COVID vaccination required; declinations are not accepted and must be state record.
    • Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without scheduling restrictions.
    • Previous travel nursing experience required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume acute care Labor & Delivery unit.
    • Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring interpretation and documentation.
