Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Demonstrate flexibility working weekends as required by unit needs
- Float to Mother Baby unit as needed to support staffing
- May be required to float to a nearby sister facility
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; 3 years preferred
- Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP
- Must be flexible working weekends
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission — post-submission RTO may not be granted
- Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible for local rate; candidates outside 50 miles are also accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Precepting skills preferred
- 3 or more years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Strong clinical skills with ability to function as a supportive caregiver on a busy unit
