Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Tooele, Utah
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Primarily Night Shifts (some Day Shifts available)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of patient care
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current STABLE certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery specialty
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced obstetrical care environment
