Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Primarily Night Shifts (some Day Shifts available)
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of patient care
Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Current STABLE certification
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery specialty
Demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced obstetrical care environment
