Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 Hours/Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
- Attend and support deliveries, including experience with Level 2 deliveries
- Perform and assist with neonatal resuscitation as needed
- Deliver couplet care for mother and newborn in the postpartum setting
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Level 2 care, attending deliveries, resuscitation, and couplet care
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Must reside at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Strong clinical background in high-acuity Labor & Delivery settings
