Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting throughout all stages of the birthing process
- Attend and support deliveries, ensuring safe outcomes for mother and newborn
- Perform neonatal resuscitation as needed in accordance with established protocols
- Deliver couplet care for postpartum mothers and newborns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor and respond to patient status changes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with Level 2 nursery care
- Experience attending deliveries and performing neonatal resuscitation
- Experience providing couplet care
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience in Labor & Delivery
- Familiarity with high-acuity obstetric patient populations
