    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients, including triage and initial assessments within RN scope of practice
    • Deliver Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care services
    • Validate initial newborn assessments performed in the baby nurse role
    • Care for Gynecology surgery patients as assigned
    • Float to Med/Surg unit when census is low; assist with vitals, medication administration, and related tasks as needed
    • Collaborate with LPN support staff, delegating appropriate tasks such as EFM evaluations, patient repositioning, and documentation assistance
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
    • Fetal Heart Monitoring (Fetal Monitoring) certification required
    • Ability to manage all RN-scope responsibilities independently for laboring, triage, and mother-baby patients
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a small or rural OB/L&D unit
    • Comfort with a flexible, multi-role environment covering L&D, Mother Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care
    • Experience working alongside LPN support staff in a collaborative team setting
