Job Title
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (12-Hour Nights)
Manage and deliver care for high-acuity OB patients including hypertension, magnesium administration, preterm labor, inductions, vaginal deliveries, and C-sections
Triage OB patients and circulate in the OR as needed
Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips; perform cervical checks
Serve as a second set of hands to receive and recover normal newborns as needed, including APGAR scoring
Float within the unit to antepartum and occasionally postpartum as needed, within scope and experience
Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR (required)
Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required; 5+ years preferred; prior travel experience considered
Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with high-risk OB patient populations including PROM, multiple births, post-partum hemorrhage, and insulin drip protocols
Familiarity with fetal surveillance technology (Centricity/Qx) and equipment such as Alaris CareFusion IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Panda Warmers
Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
Prior travel nursing experience in L&D
