    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Every Other Weekend | Floating and Call Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Monitor and assist laboring patients throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
    • Circulate for vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections; attend deliveries to support newborn resuscitation
    • Recover vaginal and cesarean delivery patients; provide care to antepartum patients requiring management in Labor & Delivery
    • Triage patients at 20 weeks gestation and above; communicate effectively with providers regarding patient status
    • Float between departments within the Women's Pavilion as required
    • Fulfill call requirements: 2 twelve-hour call shifts per every 6 weeks, with at least one being a weekend shift
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
    • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
    • Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
    • Minimum 2 previously completed travel assignments in Labor & Delivery required
    • Must be able to pass an EKG competency
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with CPN (GE) and Cerner EMR systems
    • Experience circulating for cesarean sections preferred
    • Familiarity with AWHONN staffing standards and patient ratios (1:1 or 1:2)
