Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout the labor process using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques
- Support and assist with postpartum patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Must reside 80 or more miles from the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in labor and delivery nursing
- Experience providing postpartum patient care
