    Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

    Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Some Weekend Shifts Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care for high-risk Labor and Delivery patients including antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies
    • Perform active management of laboring patients including induction and augmentation
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 for labor and 1:3 for antepartum
    • Float between units as needed within the contracted facility and nearby sister facilities
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
    • Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
    • Experience with high-risk L&D including antepartum and maternal emergencies
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a modified rate)
    • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
    • Must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (location and dates) at time of submission
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a short-term acute care or Level II Trauma Center setting
    • Familiarity with VBAC/TOLAC protocols and induction/augmentation management
    • Previous travel nursing experience with demonstrated scheduling flexibility
