Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery in Spokane, WA

Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to high-risk Labor & Delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Some weekend shifts required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to high-risk Labor & Delivery patients, including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
• Support and manage active labor, induction/augmentation, VBAC/TOLAC, and antepartum patients
• Respond to and manage maternal emergencies in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Maintain expected patient ratios (Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3)
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float between units as needed; may be expected to float to nearby sister facilities

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Experience in high-risk L&D, including antepartum, pre-eclampsia, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care or Level II Trauma Center setting
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience managing induction, augmentation, and multiples in a high-volume environment
