Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | 13-Week Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages
- Deliver newborn care and nursery support in accordance with facility protocols
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation throughout the care continuum
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Experience in Labor, Newborn, Postpartum, and Nursery care
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a critical access or rural hospital setting
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity Labor & Delivery environment
