    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with 7 L&D beds, 2 triage beds, and 10 postpartum beds, supporting approximately 1–3 births per day
    • Monitor and interpret fetal monitoring data and initiate appropriate interventions for fetal distress
    • Manage and care for high-risk obstetric patients, including those with pre-eclampsia and other complex conditions
    • Assist with and support C-section procedures as required
    • Function in both L&D and couplet care settings as census demands
    • Float to other hospital units such as MedSurg as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure (must meet state requirements)
    • Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
    • C-section experience required
    • Proficiency in fetal monitoring and management of OB emergencies, including situations without an in-house OB/Neonatologist
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
    • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience caring for high-risk obstetric patients in settings without immediate in-house physician coverage
    • Ability to function independently in OB emergencies with strong clinical assessment skills
    • Experience with couplet care and postpartum patient management
