Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout the duration of the assignment
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float to other units occasionally as needed to support staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
- BLS certification required
- This opportunity is not available to first-time travelers
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery setting
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems commonly used in acute care environments
