    Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care in a high-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit serving a diverse patient population including midwifery clients, private OB patients, and community care patients
    • Function in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery and continue newborn care until transfer to postpartum, including eye prophylaxis, Vitamin K injections, and newborn assessments
    • Circulate in the operating room as required across 4 ORs
    • Administer and monitor high-acuity medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
    • Perform electronic fetal monitoring and document care using EPIC
    • Float to Postpartum and Antepartum units, and potentially to sister facilities providing Mother/Baby care, as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Current, valid RN license (compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission)
    • Minimum of 3–5 years of Labor and Delivery experience in a high-acuity, high-paced environment, with high-risk experience required
    • Demonstrated ability to circulate in the OR
    • Demonstrated ability to provide full newborn care including eye prophylaxis, Vitamin K injections (thighs), and newborn assessments
    • Proficiency with EPIC and electronic fetal monitoring
    • Required certifications: BLS, NRP
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 5 or more years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience
    • Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
    • Experience in high-volume delivery settings (unit averages 500–600 deliveries per month)
