    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care in a high-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery unit serving a diverse patient population including midwifery clients, private OB patients, and community care patients
    • Circulate in the OR — required for this role; unit operates 4 ORs
    • Function as Baby Nurse during delivery, providing continuous newborn care including eyes, Vitamin K (thighs), and newborn assessments until transfer to postpartum — required for this role
    • Administer and monitor high-acuity medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
    • Utilize EPIC and perform electronic fetal monitoring — both are hard-stop requirements
    • Float as needed to Postpartum and Antepartum, and potentially to sister facilities that provide Mother/Baby care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
    • High-risk L&D experience required
    • Ability to circulate in the OR — hard-stop requirement
    • Ability to function as Baby Nurse and perform newborn care (eyes, Vit K, assessments) — hard-stop requirement
    • Required certifications: BLS, NRP
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler; local candidates are welcome and considered at the same rate
    • Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
    • All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
    • 2 references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Preferred certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
    • Experience in fast-paced, high-acuity Labor and Delivery environments
    • Familiarity with AWHONN staffing guidelines and standards of care
    • First-time travelers are accepted
