Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, and surgical (circulating RN) patients
- Manage PACU recovery for both the patient and neonate following delivery
- Monitor and care for 1–2 laboring patients per assignment within an 11-bed unit that includes a 3-bed triage, 2-bed PACU, and 2 operating rooms
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (Cerner and GE Centricity) to document and coordinate patient care
- Float to other units as required per facility need
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Basic Arrhythmia Course completion
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner and/or GE Centricity EMR platforms
- Familiarity with circulating RN responsibilities in a Labor and Delivery surgical setting
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
