Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for Antepartum, Intrapartum, Surgical (RN circulates), and PACU recovery of the patient and neonate
- Manage a patient ratio of 1–2 laboring patients within an 11-bed unit, including 3-bed triage, 2-bed PACU, and 2 operating rooms
- Utilize facility EMR systems (Cerner and GE Centricity) for accurate and timely documentation
- Wear hospital-provided scrubs, changed into at the start of each shift
- Float to other units as required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in Pennsylvania (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Basic Arrhythmia Course certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner and/or GE Centricity EMR platforms
- Familiarity with circulating in a surgical/OR setting within Labor & Delivery
- Experience in Antepartum and PACU recovery care settings
