    Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs on a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care
    • Reassess patients systematically to identify trends and changes in condition that require clinical intervention
    • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying the plan of care as needed
    • Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
    • Implement and document timely, age-appropriate nursing interventions and perform Point of Care testing procedures as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
    • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state RN license required
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
    • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
    • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) clinical setting
    • National professional nursing certification relevant to maternal-newborn or women's health nursing
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher level of nursing education
