Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective outcomes for patients
- Adhere to facility dress code requirements (navy scrubs) and all compliance and background check standards
- Complete required learning modules prior to assignment start
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days — no disciplinary actions on record
- Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active NRP certification from an approved vendor
- Active AWHONN/AFM certification from an approved vendor
- Must reside outside of Arizona — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- L&D skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
