Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within a large academic medical center setting
- Ability to circulate C-sections as required
- Provide postpartum care and support to patients as needed
- Float to other units or facilities within the health system as operationally required
- Complete all required non-billable orientation modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
- BSN required
- AHA BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification
- AWHONN Intermediate certification
- Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience
- Teaching hospital experience required
- 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submission
- Any prior employment with any University of California medical facility or affiliated facility must be disclosed with dates, units, and manager names at time of submission for rehire eligibility review
- Local candidates are accepted and are subject to the same rates as travel candidates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel assignment experience
- Postpartum nursing experience
- Familiarity with Epic EMR
