Key Responsibilities Independently manage laboring patients including high-risk pregnancies, labor inductions, and augmentations.

Perform fetal monitoring interpretation using electronic, telemetry, and wireless monitoring systems
Circulate cesarean sections and assist with operative vaginal deliveries (vacuum/forceps)
Provide immediate postpartum recovery care and newborn stabilization
Respond to and manage obstetric emergencies including postpartum hemorrhage, shoulder dystocia, and preeclampsia
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, NICU, and postpartum teams in a multidisciplinary environment
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience in an acute care hospital setting
Demonstrated experience with fetal monitoring interpretation
Experience circulating cesarean sections and managing high-risk OB patients
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Active certifications: BLS, ACLS (ALS), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with operative vaginal deliveries, external cephalic versions, and cerclage procedures
Antepartum patient care and management
Experience with magnesium sulfate administration, insulin drips, and multiple gestation pregnancies
NICU or newborn stabilization experience
