    Registered Nurse – LDRP & Level 1 Nursery (Nights)

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Directly provide patient care and monitor patient response through labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, including breastfeeding support and education
    • Independently assess and evaluate the health status of labor and neonate patients using objective and subjective data to identify healthcare problems
    • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the broader healthcare team to establish and implement individualized care plans with measurable goals
    • Document all patient events, interventions, and education accurately in the electronic medical record
    • Communicate patient condition verbally and in writing to physicians and nursing supervisors; assist with physician procedures as needed
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment within the unit and assist staff with emergencies in other nursing units when possible
    Required Qualifications
    • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado
    • Minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
    • Minimum of two years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
    • BLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification preferred
    • Experience collaborating with nursery nursing staff in mother/baby couplet care
    • Experience providing patient and family education related to infant care and postpartum wellness
