Provide direct nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and recovery on a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit
Perform triage assessments and antepartum monitoring for obstetric patients
Circulate for cesarean section procedures in the OR
Deliver first-hour newborn care (excluding admission assessment and eyes and thighs)
Provide breastfeeding assistance and patient education to postpartum patients
Utilize electronic monitoring equipment and EMR systems to document and manage patient care
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Current Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (within the previous 2 years)
Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Current BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working at high-volume facilities with more than 3,000 births per year
Strong patient-centered care approach with an emphasis on individual patient preferences
Comfort working within a culturally diverse patient and team environment
