    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery (Nights)

    Reno, Nevada

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to patients in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit, including management of laboring patients across 15 labor beds, 9 antepartum beds, and 3 OR suites
    • Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout the labor and delivery process, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment to deliver safe and effective obstetric care
    • Float to other maternal units, including postpartum and NICU, as needed and within scope of competency
    • Participate in scheduling requirements that may include weekends, holidays, and additional shifts as needed by the department
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Nevada State RN license required prior to start date
    • Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience in a high-risk hospital setting
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • STABLE certification preferred
    • Experience working in a high-acuity, high-volume obstetric environment comparable to a Level I or Level II trauma center
    • Comfort and experience floating to postpartum and NICU units
