Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Perform vaginal examinations and deliver hands-on baby care throughout the labor and delivery process
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart rate patterns using advanced fetal monitoring techniques
- Support patients across a range of birth volumes, from fewer than 100 to more than 300 births
- Adhere to facility dress code standards, including covering tattoos and complying with all appearance policies
- Fulfill weekend requirements of 2 weekends every 6 weeks, with night shift weekends potentially including Fridays
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- BLS certification required
- AWHONN Advanced certification required
- NRP Advanced certification required (must include all 11 components)
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level II Trauma Center hospital environment
- Familiarity with high-volume Labor and Delivery units (300+ births)
- Comfort working in facilities with structured compliance and documentation requirements
