Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit within a full-service acute care hospital setting
- Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Utilize Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) skills to assess and respond to fetal heart rate patterns
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support safe delivery outcomes
- Complete required facility learning modules prior to the start of assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona — verified within the last 30 days; no disciplinary actions on license
- Minimum of 24 months of Labor & Delivery experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification from an approved vendor
- Active NRP certification from an approved vendor
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Must reside outside of Arizona — Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments at Arizona facilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience working across multiple facility types, departments, or states
- Familiarity with acute care hospital environments of similar size and scope
